The Seventh Regiment of U.S.I. Living History Association is a non profit corporation and has been in existence since 1988. They portray the time period from 1810 to 1850 (War of 1812, Seminole War, Mexican War.) Their headquarters is in Texas with members from TX, OK, LA, AR, KS, MO, IL, IN, AL, GA, FL, MS, VA, MD, and CA.

The Seventh is the only Regular Army Living History unit accorded the privilege of carrying on their Colors the same campaign streamers attached to the active duty Regiment, still in service at Ft. Stewart, GA. The Seventh is the most decorated Regiment in U.S. history. These streamers were presented to this historical unit by the active duty Regiment at the Chalmette Battlefield outside New Orleans in January 1997.
