2010 Fort Erie Friendship Festival

2nd Annual 1812 Encampment

War of 1812 Encampment - July 3rd, 2010 - Fort Erie
See 2010 Schedule Re-enactor's page

The Friendship Festival now in it's 24th year was started on the desire to celebrate the national holidays of Canada and the United States who have enjoyed a long lasting peace since the end of the War of 1812. As part of the festival activities a small War of 1812 encampment will be on hand to show visitors what life was like back in the days of that War. As the bi-centennial for the War of 1812 approaches, events across Canada will be hosted to commemorate and dedicate various aspects of War and to the peace we share. So come visit and talk with the reenactors who will share their knowledge of that time with you.
