The Stockton Society, formed in 1990, is an organization dedicated to seeking and preserving Stockton records, fostering communcation between the various branches of the Stockton family, and performing research on a voluntary, as-time-permits basis.
Annual meetings are held in southern Cheshire in May or June of each year, and all interested researchers are welcome. The agenda usually comprises election of officers, report of research and recording keeping, and discussion of other ongoing projects. The business portion of the meeting is usually followed by a buffet meal and refreshments, and renewal of old acquaintances.
